The Role:
We are currently looking for a hands-on Admin/Accounts/Payroll professional to take over the bookkeeping and payroll operations of our business. While we use "Reckon Accounts Hosted" as our accounting software, prior experience with this program is not essential. What matters most is your experience with accounts and payroll, and your ability to learn and adapt quickly.
This position is ready for an immediate start at our Warrnambool location, and your duties will include, but are not limited to:
End-to-End Payroll Processing: Managing payroll for all staff, including processing superannuation, tax, and leave entitlements.
Employee Records & Timesheets: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
General Accounting: Handling accounts payable/receivable and supporting general administrative tasks.
Office Operations: Providing assistance with other office and administrative duties as required.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who brings at least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping and payroll. In addition to your experience, we value the following skills:
Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
The ability to work independently and manage your workload without constant supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both for internal collaboration and providing customer service.
