About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Lighting Sales Consultant to join a highly reputable company specialising within the commercial and industrial industries. A chance to be a part of a company with a solid reputation built across almost half a century.

This is a full time role, Monday - Friday, normal business hours

The opportunity to work remotely and on the road, coming into the office once a week and as required

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Identify potential quotes and leads and convert into sales
• Track quotes and potential orders
• Maintain a portfolio of accounts
• Request and maintain lighting samples
• Promote lighting solutions through physical samples and product documentation
• Achieve sales targets and budgets
• Report on pipeline of designs, specifications, negotiations, and orders

Skills & experience:

• Manage a current portfolio of contacts to bring to the role e.g. architects, engineers & builders
• Demonstrated experience in working in a new business development and sales
• Experience working in a fast paced sales environment
• Ability to clearly communicate customer expectations in order to achieve desired outcomes.
• Possess solid negotiation and customer relationship building skills
• Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales targets set.
