As a Senior Officer, Research Grants, you will:
- Plan and oversee the application, submission, central administration and management of competitive grants awards.
- Collaborate and support Faculties/Institutes and research teams to develop competitive grant applications by providing guidance on proposal writing, formatting and adherence to funding agency requirements.
- Review and provide feedback on grant proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy and compliance with grant award guidelines.
- Assist in the administration of awarded grants, including progress updates and reporting.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience working in a busy, complex, administrative environment as part of a hardworking and collaborative team.
- Experience interpreting policies, guidelines and procedures, reviewing and editing documentation against eligibility requirements and providing clear, concise advice or constructive feedback to clients.
