M&S Civil and Mining are seeking a Linemarking Operator Technician to join our road linemarking team.

M&S Civil and Mining provide road construction and maintenance services to the mining sector, local government clients and Mainroads WA across Western Australia.

We are seeking a Linemarking Operator Technician to join our team where you will be responsible for the installation of roadway linemarking. This position requires the attributes of a skilled mobile plant operator combined with a technician mind to ensure the road markings are installed to Mainroads WA Specifications.

The successful candidate will be teamed with our existing experienced supervisor/ operator and will learn all aspects of the job- experienced linemarking truck operators are also invited to apply for this job.

There is a physical element to this role- some road markings are installed by hand using hand tools/ specialist roads marking trolleys which require suitable candidates to be physically fit and able to withstand physically demanding working tasks and environments.

Experience/ knowledge in the following is preferred:

· Line marking

· Skilled mobile plant operation- ability to focus on precise mobile plant operation

· Working safely in and our live traffic

· Attention to detail

· Mechanical/ electrical problem solving

· Willingness to learn

Career path growth into the role of crew supervisor is our long term aim for this candidate.

HR license minimum.

This is a full time casual FIFO role out of Perth on a flexible 2:2 or 3:3 week roster.

Pay rate to be based on the candidate's skill level and experience in line marking operations.
