The Opportunity – Clinical Governance Lead (National role, based in Paramatta)
Are you a skilled clinical leader who thrives in dynamic, values-driven environments? We are seeking an experienced Clinical Governance Lead to champion clinical excellence and drive the development of evidence-based practice across our national Newcomer's programs.
In this influential role, you’ll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to uplift practice standards, provide leadership in clinical service delivery, and ensure that the most vulnerable people in our communities receive high-quality, responsive care.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the integration of best-practice clinical models across diverse casework teams
-Provide high-level guidance and supervision to a team of experienced clinicians
- Oversee and enhance clinical services, ensuring quality, safety and innovation
-Build strong referral and community partnerships to meet complex client needs
- Deliver impactful training and development for caseworkers and frontline staff
- Represent SSI in sector forums, networks and clinical governance initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and reporting systems
Who You Are
- Registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA, ideally with supervisor endorsement
- Proven experience in leading clinical teams in a community or health setting
- Skilled in clinical supervision, training, and the delivery of trauma-informed care
- Adept at navigating complex service needs, including those of children and CALD clients
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence, support and lead multidisciplinary teams
-Experience in quality management, monitoring outcomes, and stakeholder engagement
- Bonus: Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or Out of Home Care
