Purpose of the Position

Australian Dairy Park (ADP) is a subsidiary of Ausnutria Australia. ADP is a dairy business manufacturing formulated milk powders for infants, toddlers, and adults for domestic and overseas markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Release and Testing Coordination

a. Liaise with external laboratories to coordinate finished goods testing and ensure the timely generation of Certificates of Analysis.

b. Communicate proactively with the Sales team regarding expected finished goods release dates.

c. Coordinate the implementation and routine management of finished goods monitoring programs.

d. Compile batch disposition reports using finished goods release data (provided by QC Coordinator) and flag quality concerns for QA Manager review.

e. Ensure all test results are recorded accurately in quality systems to support product release, traceability, and trend analysis.

2. Quality Documentation and Records

a. Maintain and control quality documents including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and work instructions to ensure they remain current, approved, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

b. Support the internal audit schedule by preparing documentation and working with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams in timely closure of findings.

c. Update staff training records within the Quality Department, identify any gaps or missing trainings, and coordinate with relevant departments to organise and schedule the required training sessions.

3. Compliance Tracking

a. Maintain the allergen register and ensure timely updates in response to raw material or product changes.

b. Conduct and report on bi-annual finished goods microbiological reviews and monthly raw material testing summaries to QA Manager.

c. Track specification and CoA compliance and assist with supplier performance reviews as needed.

d. Monitor and log foreign body control activities (e.g., sieve findings) and coordinate corrective actions with QA Manger and operations.

4. Quality Management & Culture

a. Support the development of the next generation of ADP’s quality program to achieve best in class status in terms of quality systems, which drive the required quality culture and outcomes.

b. Assist with developing and implementing best practice quality processes across the business to improve quality performance and reduce defects/non-conformances.

5. Continuous Improvement

a. support continuous improvement opportunities to ensure alignment with both company priorities and objectives.

b. Participate in cross functional teams to investigate quality issues, conduct Root Cause Analysis, and assess corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

Education and Experience

• Degree (or similar) in food science or a related field

• Minimum experience 1.5 years

• knowledge of food regulatory environments

• Experience in infant formula products highly beneficial

• Experience working in a GFSI certified environment
