About the role

Based in our Head office in Essendon Fields, an excellent career opportunity exists for an Quality Assurance Officer who has a strong desire to contribute and participate in the exciting opportunities arising within a dynamic, technology business with growth and expansion plans.

Working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, this position is responsible for providing site-based quality inspection and compliance control on inbound and outbound goods, ensuring quality is kept at the forefront of Elenium staff member’s minds.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Provide support to the Assurance Team, Operations Team, Supply Chain and Production Team members, as required.

Inspect, test and sample materials, parts or products for defects and any deviations from specifications.

Ensure that all inspections, testing and verification activities are effectively completed.

Support quality inspection of incoming goods.

Support maintaining, reviewing and updating Quality documentation and records.

Raise and escalate non conformance and corrective action reports.

Skills and experience

Experience

Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency.

Experience with electronics and software equipment inspection, manufacturing/production acceptance testing.

Experience providing Quality Assurance/Control in a manufacturing environment.

Proven Microsoft Office skills.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain excellent relationships with a range of key stakeholders.

Good organisational skills with an ability to plan and prioritise competing work requirements and work towards tight deadlines.

Adaptable and able to work autonomously and in dynamic, fast paced team environment.

Proactive and reactive problem solving skills with an ability to “think outside the box”

Bonus Points for the Following:

Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001

Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Compliance and Auditing.
