About the Role:
As General Manager, you will lead end-to-end operations, develop and implement strategic growth plans, and nurture client relationships that strengthen our market presence. Your leadership will ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation and efficiency across key sectors including mining, infrastructure, energy, rail, and agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a safe and compliant work environment at all times
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans across business units
• Optimise supply chain and operational efficiencies to reduce costs and enhance service
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities in line with industry trends
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Lead high-value contract negotiations and project acquisition
• Align business goals with operational capability and delivery
• Drive sales performance through innovative and targeted strategies
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in team leadership, coaching, and performance development
• Track record of achieving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
• Strong background in financial oversight, budgeting, and profitability management
• Expertise in data analysis to inform business decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to influence at all levels
• A collaborative and cross-functional mindset
• Deep understanding of safety practices and compliance in industrial settings
• Technical insight into repair and maintenance operations within mining and infrastructure sectors

Preferred Background:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
• MBA or postgraduate business qualification (highly regarded)
• Post-trade qualifications in welding, machining, or hydraulics
• Minimum 15 years' people management experience
• Extensive industry experience across the Mining, Engineering & Trades industries
• Familiarity with ISO certification and relevant mining accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Permanent full time position with an established organisation
• Salary package starting from $150,000 + super (Negotiable)
• Performance Bonuses of up to $100,000 per year
• Opportunity to work across various projects
