About the role
Pharmhouse Administration Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and processing our financial records, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation while developing your skills in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
What you will be responsible for but not limited to;
Perform general accounting duties, including accounts receivable and accounts payable processing
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents
Set up and maintain new and existing customers and suppliers
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries
Provide administrative support to the accounting team as required
Assist with HR administration and rosters
What we're looking for
Qualification in business and/or finance studies - preferable
At least three to five years' experience in office administration
Banking, credit card management and reconciliations
Experience in Reckon/QuickBooks
Account reconciliations across multiple accounts
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Excellent communication to all aspects of the business
Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload
Collating and Maintaining Records
Experience in roster management an advantage
Passionate, Professional and Eager to learn new platforms
Trustworthy, Reliable and Self Motivated
Maintain a High Level of confidentially in all administration tasks
Required to complete a Police Check
Relevant experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role in a diverse environment
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Reckon, MYOB or Xero
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated problem-solving and time management skills
