Defects Foreman
Design & Build is working with a National D&C company to fill a Defects Foreman role. The successful applicant will work on high-end residential build projects in the northern Brisbane suburbs.
Our client is looking for a motivated foreman to join their well established team to address all DLP issues as well as any other post completion building issues. In between this, the role will report into live projects and assist, particularly around the back end of project completions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• All facets of Quality Assurance, including defect identification
• Project timeline management
• Scheduling and management of subcontractors
• Professional and well communicated management of the established team
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Understanding and adhering to OHS and Building standards
• Daily site reporting Project Team

Requirements

• Recent experience working on high end residential or commercial build projects $20mill +
• Ability to plan, manage and sequence subcontractors
• High level attention to detail
• Will have worked as a Foreman on several apartment projects
• QBCC license is an advantage
