Their QLD operation develops and builds luxury apartments and with record sales they are going from strength to strength. They have exciting growth plans in place with exciting land acquisition in central Brisbane.

The Role

With an attractive property portfolio on the north side of Brisbane, our client is now looking for a Maintenance Foreman to join the team. You will be responsible for managing all Maintenance and Defects across their property portfolio of high end, medium rise apartments.

About You

The preferred candidate will be a Trade Qualified Carpenter and will have experience working in commercial construction as a Foreman or Site Manager on similar class 1 product.

You will be a strong communicator and operate with a high level of emotional intelligence. You will liaise with the property owners and property managers as well as the delivery teams and demonstrate the highest level of customer service to all.

You will be responsible for identifying maintenance issues and defects. You will conduct thorough investigations to understand who is responsible for the issue and how to solve it in the most efficient and least disruptive way. You will organise relevant trades to fulfill their obligations within the defect liability period and be willing to jump on the tools as and when required for smaller, easy to fix problems.

You will schedule trades in advance and manage them to agreed timelines and to the highest quality of finish.

This could suit someone who still has a passion for construction and customer service but is ready for a change from the big hours and the high levels of pressure of building.

The Benefits

There is a salary of up to $150k Package, plus you will be provided with a vehicle and tools, but will be expected to own some of your own basic hand tools and power tools.
