About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support the delivery of a high-profile, large-scale high-rise development located on the Gold Coast. This role will suit a commercially astute professional with strong experience across head contracts, subcontracts, procurement, and cost control on major projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end contract administration, supporting procurement, driving cost efficiencies, and liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage head contracts and subcontracts, including drafting, negotiation, and close-out.

Lead procurement activities to secure cost-effective goods and services on schedule.

Monitor project budgets, control costs, and implement financial reporting systems.

Identify contractual risks and coordinate mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, codes, and company policies.

Provide clear, timely reporting to senior leadership on contractual and financial matters.

Build strong relationships with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related discipline.

Minimum 7 years’ experience in contract administration within the construction sector.

Proven track record on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Deep understanding of contract law, procurement, and cost management systems.

Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
