Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at The Little Ox. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Designing and executing seasonal menus that reflect our café's style.
Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.
Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Mentoring and training kitchen staff to foster a positive work environment.
Collaborating with local suppliers for fresh ingredients and menu inspiration.
Monitoring food costs and maintaining budgetary goals.
Kitchen rostering
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a café or restaurant.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
