We are a respected, multi-disciplinary rehabilitation service catering to the unique needs of people with neurological conditions. With a team of over 200, we provide the most comprehensive allied health services in our sector with innovative rehabilitation centres across Melbourne, Geelong, Hobart and Albury along with an extensive home visit and community-based service.

Supervision & Support - NeuroRehab's Occupational Therapy team have skilled senior clinicians, team leaders, & clinical manager whom are happy to support your growth and development.

PD & Workshops - You'll receive a personal budget to use on courses of your choice and have the ability to attend the vast range of workshops we host at NeuroRehab! Check our Learn tab on our website for more information.

Team member package - A base salary of $90,000 - 125,000pa depending on experience PLUS a personal company car, fuel card to assist with the travels, a work laptop and phone to separate work and play, and an efficiency payment structure to reward your efforts. If you decide to opt out of the company car, you can use your own personal car and be provided a higher base salary and a travel reimbursement instead.

Senior Occupational Therapist or Team Leader role at NeuroRehab

We are searching for a creative and confident Senior Occupational Therapist or Team Leader to join our supportive multidisciplinary team at our Hobart clinic. The position is ideal for applicants with full-time availability, however, applications with part-time availability or those seeking school-friendly hours are encouraged to apply.

The caseload will be working with the adult population and assisting people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and a diverse range of other neurological conditions.

Clinical snapshot:

• Delivery of therapeutic services including OT assessments, interventions, treatment planning, education, and reporting.
• .Supervision of less experienced OTs.
• Working with our OT Education team to develop and deliver learning programs
• Development of future student programs.
• Contribution to screening of new referrals, delegation of referrals to staff, and clinical risk management planning
• Opportunities to participate in projects and innovative service development for the Department and wider MDT.
• Hands-on with the recruitment process for new team members. If you have an eye for people and OT skills, building the team is a rewarding experience!
• Prescription and funding requests of AT as required.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team..

NeuroRehab Career Pathways

At NeuroRehab, we are committed to your career growth and have established career pathways to accommodate your interests. The Career Pathways we have developed at NeuroRehab allow team members the option between three different streams:

- Management - Interests in leading and managing a team of therapists
- Education - Interests in students/supervision and in-service preparations
- Clinical Passion - becoming an expert in a specific treatment technique/s

NeuroRehab clients:

Our clients are predominantly NDIS participants and some TAC and My Aged Care-funded clients.

Requirements

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• 4 - 5+ years of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.

Desirable

• Experience working within an NDIS framework.
• Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology.
