Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant for a highly regarded organisation based on the CBD fringe. This permanent opportunity offers a true career opportunity within a highly sought after industry.

Working within a friendly team environment this role will require a Candidate to work in a high- volume transaction environment.

Proven complex bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation and month-end accounting experience with the ability to meet month end deadlines will see you successful in this role.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include:

* Bank Reconciliations
* Complex general ledger reconciliations
* Processing Journals
* Assisting with tight month-end reporting deadlines
* Expense management
* Working closely with stakeholders

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a large, complex organisation. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Excellent attention to detail
- ERP accounting skills and strong Excel ability
- Proven complex reconciliation experience
- Able to start immediately
