Excel Recruitment is proudly supporting the Queensland Government's National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP) through the Fire Ant Suppression Taskforce (FAST). To assist with aerial treatment across high-infestation zones, we are recruiting AO3 ($50 - $51 hourly) Aerial Support Officers for immediate start.

About the Role
You will support aerial treatment operations by coordinating logistics, engaging with the public, maintaining data integrity, and assisting with on-ground aerial servicing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support aerial surveillance and treatment tasks

Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures

Communicate with landowners to gain access and provide program information

Maintain accurate records and monitor data integrity

Assist with equipment servicing, refuelling, and pilot support

What We're Looking For
✅ Strong organisational and administrative skills
✅ Confident communicator with public engagement experience
✅ Attention to detail in data handling and compliance
✅ Able to work both independently and within a team
✅ Willing to support physical tasks in aerial operations

Mandatory Requirements

Current, unrestricted C-Class driver's licence

National Police Clearance dated within the last 12 months

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid working rights

If on a visa, you must provide evidence of your right to work in Australia and advise of any changes

Highly Regarded

Experience working with rural communities or primary producers
