We’re looking for a world-class professional to use their skills, expertise and passion to launch a successful career as a residential property Buyer’s Agent in Melbourne.
The Role
This role will primarily see you receiving a mix of company generated leads as well as a requirement for you to generate your own new business opportunities - working with buyers as well as networking with agents and sellers to maintain a consistent pipeline of happy buyers working through our acquisition process. Administration support is provided to allow you to focus on creating new business, and finding and securing high performing assets for our clients.
Responsibilities
Meeting with clients to ascertain their exact requirements
Attending face to face client meetings and presentations
Build strong relationships with real estate agents in target areas
Searching, researching and delivering suitable properties to our clients (with administration support)
Sourcing appropriate properties both on and off-market (with administration support)
Carrying out comprehensive due diligence for each target property (with administration support)
Conducting negotiation of price and terms to purchase property by any method of sale whether private treaty or bidding at auction
Monitoring documentation through the entire process (with administration support)
Coordinating with agents any building and pre settlement inspections (with administration support)
Maintaining strong relationships with agents to obtain referrals to potential buyers
Liaising with conveyancers, solicitors, building inspectors, mortgage brokers etc. (with administration support)
Preparing comparative market analysis and market research on recent trends and data
Communicate diligently with administrative staff to ensure the highest level of service to buyer clients from initial contact through contract to settlement and beyond
Requirements
Current Real Estate License
Strong level of ethics and integrity befitting the role of an independent adviser
High level of property, market and agency practice knowledge
Real estate contract and negotiation skills expertise and knowledge
Excellent customer service skills, attitude and great phone manner
Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Good time management skills
Own vehicle and driver’s license
Ability to work autonomously and on weekend (when required)
Ability to research and interpret relevant data
