We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Consultant to join our team at ITP Sydney CBD & North Shore, working from our Sydney CBD office. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for the upcoming tax season — ideal for professionals who thrive in a client-facing role and want stable hours without overtime.

You’ll work independently with the support of a professional and approachable leadership team, preparing individual tax returns and delivering a personalised client experience.

Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing

Prepare and lodge individual income tax returns (in-person, phone and Microsoft Teams)

Identify eligible deductions, offsets, and tax-compliant strategies for clients

Communicate clearly with a wide range of individual clients, including professionals, contractors, and investors

Deliver a professional, friendly, and efficient client experience

What You’ll Need

3+ years’ experience in Australian individual tax preparation

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field (with Australian tax content)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently, manage appointments, and meet deadlines

Experience with on-premise or cloud-based tax software (Xero Tax ideal but not essential)
