About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Hakfoort Group team as the Hotel Manager for Tingalpa Hotel. As a full-time role based in Tingalpa, Queensland, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for guests.

The hotel will be undergoing a major extension over the coming 12 months which will include a new themed restaurant, beer garden, pizza oven and a brand new kitchen to name just a few of the exciting things coming to Tingalpa Hotel.

What you'll be doing

Providing strong leadership and management to the hotel staff

Ensuring operational processes and procedures are followed to deliver excellent customer service

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and front desk

Managing budgets and financial performance to maximise profitability

Implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new guests and maintain high occupancy rates

Fostering a positive and productive work environment for all hotel employees

Monitoring and addressing guest feedback to continuously improve the hotel experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a high volume venue will be highly regarded

Significant experience as a Hotel Manager or in a senior hospitality management role

Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of hotel operations

Strong financial management skills and the ability to drive profitability

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
