About the role

Gunning Early Learning Centre is seeking experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of young children in our vibrant early learning environment located in Gunning, NSW 2581.

What you'll be doing

Creating and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that foster the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to inform curriculum planning

Ensuring a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment for all children

Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A Certificate 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education (diploma considered)

Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a regulated childcare setting

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and its application

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of young children

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team

A current Working With Children Check or the ability to obtain one
