We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team at the Glenbernie Orchard Café. Set on our 6th generation family farm, our café serves fresh, seasonal food to locals and visitors alike. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a welcoming, friendly venue.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take ownership of the current menu and adapt it as appropriate to reflect seasonal produce and customer demand

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen

· Manage stock and inventory effectively, including ordering and waste minimisation

· Supervise and support 1–2 kitchen staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

· Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations

Essential Requirements:

· Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a busy commercial kitchen

· Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

· Strong leadership, time management and problem-solving skills

· Self-motivated, professional, and detail-oriented

· Well-presented and punctual

· Must have own transport
