A Small but vibrant café in Chermside requires a Café all rounder with at least 2 years Barista experience. Experience in short order cooking/sandwich prep is advantageous.

We are looking for a happy, outgoing, friendly person who enjoys working within a team. Learning all aspects of the Café, including barista, short order cooking and POS will be imperative.

As a member of our team you will live our values and help drive our sales each week while building strong customer relationships. Your positive attitude will shine through always, while you work cooperatively in a team to provide our customers with engaging, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable service through register transactions. You will provide our customers with a level of service that will encourage them to return again and again.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be required to make exceptional coffees in a high pressure environment whilst maintaining standards at all times.

You must also be able to prepare fast, yet simple food and pride yourself on food presentation.

You will be able to work swiftly on many orders at once and be able to multitask between cooking, making coffees, refilling/ restocking and serving customers.

Qualifications and Skills

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to prioritise tasks during busy periods

Maintain a high level of customer service at all times

2 years barista experience

Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, health and hygiene responsibilities

*This is a casual role offering approximately 25+ hours per week. Applicant must have flexibility to work over a 7 day roster. No night work required.
