About Us

B.Social Cafe is part of Wellness Australia Group (WAG)—a disability service provider. The B. Social Cafe aims to create inclusive spaces where community connection flourishes, and everyone feels welcome. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve basic food items (toasties, breakfast items etc)

Barista duties

Greet and serve customers with friendly and efficient service

Operate the point of sale (POS) system and handle cash/card transactions

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and service areas

Wash dishes and clean equipment and utensils

Restock supplies and rotate stock as required

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

Support the team with opening and closing procedures

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Experience in a similar café or hospitality role

Confident barista skills and knowledge of coffee equipment

Understanding of food handling and hygiene practices

Great communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude

Availability to work weekends and public holidays

Hold an NDIS Workers Card and Working with Children Blue Card (or willing to obtain these)

Food Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain)

Desirable:

Barista training or certification

Experience in training
