About the Role

This position leads and supports end-to-end procurement processes, contract management, and vendor engagement for ICT goods and services. The role contributes to cost optimisation, sourcing strategies, and compliance with government procurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes for ICT assets and services
• Develop, review, and maintain procurement documents and contracts
• Support evaluation and contract negotiations aligned with sourcing strategies
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues using procurement expertise
• Analyse cloud spend and implement cost-optimisation strategies
• Ensure compliance with procurement legislation, policies, and procedures

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of Commonwealth procurement experience, including documentation and approvals
• Proven ability to lead ICT procurement and vendor contract management
• Strong knowledge of procurement frameworks and sourcing strategy development
• Experience with cloud cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Sound understanding of the commercial IT and vendor landscape

Existing Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
