The Hills Learning Centre in Castle Hill is seeking new dynamic team members.
The successful applicants MUST HAVE:

-Relevant qualifications OR experience working with and/or supporting students in special education and/or learning difficulties. SPALDING or WRAP experience desirable but not essential.

- a passion for teaching and helping others

- skills and willingness to teach all ability levels and stages in literacy and numeracy including Life-skills; high school maths an advantage

- the ability to be highly flexible and adaptable to the specific needs of students.

- the ability to look at students learning and behaviours holistically

- a desire to continue learning in the area of learning difficulties and special needs
- reliability, be dynamic, positive and highly professional, ability to work as a team member

- an ability to communicate with peers, students and parents on a professional level

- ability to liaise and work collaboratively with allied health and other support networks

The Hills Learning Centre specialises in all areas of learning difficulties and special needs including Dyslexia, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). We offer full diagnostic assessments, advice, support and remedial learning intervention. We are registered providers for NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

Positions are permanent part-time; 12- 24 hours per week; Monday to Friday; morning and/or afternoon teaching blocks- number of hours negotiable. Positions must include Saturday work 8.30 am -3 pm.
