The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for assisting with the month end process and some project accounting including:

Collate weekly cost reports and provide feedback to the engineering team on errors and findings

Provide template training to new engineers on Weekly and Monthly cost reports

Prepare Monthly Yard and Overhead report and cost root analysis, variation analysis to budget

Assist with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, variation analysis

Assist with preparation of business forecast

Assist with new system implementation

Bank and corporate credit card reconciliations and cost tracking

Balance Sheet reconciliation and Posting Journals

Ad Hoc Reporting as required

Requirements:

Strong systems skills including Excel

CA or CPA qualified or part qualified

Project accounting and construction highly regarded

Strong stakeholder skills - be able to converse at all levels

Good work ethic and down to earth
