About the role

Focused Well-being Services' are seeking a Female Support Worker to join our team in Fernvale, QLD. This is a casual position, providing critical support services to individuals with disabilities in our local community.

What you'll be doing

Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal preparation

Delivering social and recreational support to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for clients

Implementing individual care plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes

Maintaining accurate client records and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisors

Promoting independence, dignity and choice for all clients in a respectful and empathetic manner

What we're looking for

Prior experience as a support worker or carer, ideally within the aged care or disability services sector

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Genuine passion for improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and a commitment to person-centred care

Adaptability and resourcefulness to provide tailored support for clients with diverse needs

Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

First aid certification or willingness to obtain
