Amazing Female Support Workers - Southport
QSSS Pty Ltd
Posted 12 days ago
QSSS is on the lookout for a truly special Support Worker to support a truly special young woman.
This vibrant 20-year-old recently relocated to Southport.
She’s a creative soul with a natural talent for sewing and a love for all things crafty. She’s also a passionate gamer and enjoys the everyday joys of being a young adult. Her beloved cat is a big part of her life, so it’s important that you’re comfortable being around feline friends.
As a wheelchair user, she requires assistance with her morning and afternoon routines, including personal care and light domestic support. She experiences fatigue easily, so a gentle, understanding approach is key.
A Support Worker with a car that can accommodate a collapsible wheelchair is essential, as she’ll need help getting to appointments and getting familiar with the public transport system in South East Queensland. She’s also keen to get back into swimming, which supports her physical wellbeing, and would love someone who can assist her at the pool.
She welcomes Support Workers of all ages but has requested female workers only. Due to hearing challenges, she may find strong accents difficult to understand, but she deeply values diversity and enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life.
