Exciting Opportunity at Maven Dental Ferny Grove! Join Our Team as a Full-Time Dental Assistant!

Our well established 3 chair dental practice is focused on delivering smiles and positive experiences to each and every patient. We offer a friendly environment, advanced technology, exceptional service and a comprehensive range of dental treatments from check-up and cleans to teeth whitening to Invisalign.

Full - time dental assistant position available

• Full - time hours across a four-day working week, providing a work life balance
• 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Wage: $28 - $31 per hour depending on the level of experience and qualifications

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Our successful candidate:

• Experience as a dental assistant desired, but not required as on the job training is provided
• Experience with EXACT dental software is ideal but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
