About the Role:

We're on the hunt for a creative, clever, witty, and personality-packed Social Media Manager to join our YASI Fun Club team on a contractor basis, working one day a week. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media and is up-to-date on the latest trends and tools to keep our brand at the forefront of creativity and engagement. A great sense of humour and a down-to-earth personality are key - this role is all about having fun with our content, getting a little cheeky, and bringing clever, playful energy to our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Content Scheduling & Management: Plan and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.

· Reel & TikTok Editing: Edit video content using CapCut and other relevant apps to create captivating Reels and TikToks.

· Graphic Design: Utilize your graphic design skills to create visually appealing content. Experience with Adobe Suite is a bonus.

· Content Creation: Capture content on-site in Bangalow during sessions and behind-the-scenes moments to showcase the vibrant atmosphere of YASI Fun Club.

· Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of the curve with the latest social media trends, hacks, and best practices to boost engagement and grow our audience.

Mandatory Qualifications:

· Proven experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) with a strong portfolio.

· Skilled in video editing, particularly for Reels and TikTok.

· Strong graphic design skills and a sharp eye for aesthetics, layout, and detail. Experience with Adobe design software is a plus.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience (Not Mandatory):

· Photography, including studio photography

· Videography

· Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush, etc.)

Personality / Character Traits:

· Funny with a strong sense of humour that clearly shows in the content

· A sense of clever wit is essential for this role

· Ability to tap into trending topics across media and platforms to create unique, funny, entertaining, and highly relatable content for our audience

Portfolio Requirement:

A portfolio of previous social media and graphic design work is essential.
Please include examples that showcase your ability to create engaging, funny, and visually compelling content.
This can include:

· Links to social media accounts you’ve managed (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.)

· Screenshots or case studies showcasing your content strategy, caption writing & hashtag strategy, Reels/TikToks, and engagement growth.

· Examples of graphics or design work (tiles, stories, ads, templates).

· Any video editing samples.
