Join a professional and supportive finance team as a Senior Payroll Officer, managing the end-to-end payroll process for 250+ employees across Australia. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead payroll operations, ensure compliance, and contribute to a major payroll system transformation (Oracle implementation).

Your Role

Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, your role will involve:

• Full-function, twice-monthly payroll for 250+ staff using MYOB
• Superannuation, bonuses, leave, salary packaging & terminations
• PAYG, STP reporting, payroll tax (monthly & annual)
• Maintain accurate employee and master payroll records
• Handle payroll queries in partnership with HR
• Help drive the upcoming payroll system migration to Oracle

Your Profile:

You will be proactive in your approach and be extremely systems savvy. You will work well in a small team and an expert with all things payroll! You will have a bright and approvable nature and enjoy a diverse, changing and dynamic environment.

For the right person, this role may move from a temporary capacity to a FTC and potentially permanent.

• 5+ years’ experience in end-to-end payroll (ideally in professional services)
• Strong Excel skills and MYOB experience preferred
• Excellent understanding of payroll compliance, legislation & awards
• Ability to interpret contracts and manage confidential information
• Proactive, detail-focused, and able to work autonomously
