We are looking to welcome some new faces to our Family-owned business who have a passion for hospitality, management and team leading in our highly esteemed and established Motel in the beautiful town of Roma. This position would be ideal for a couple looking for rent free living with all rates included who would oversee all booking and reservation management, general maintenance and guest relations while maintaining our untarnished and renowned reputation. We are ideally looking for a couple who have experience in the Motel industry, however we are not opposed to training people willing to learn and relocate.

Athena Studio Units in Roma is a 4.5-Star Motel, currently upgrading and extending our already successful and thriving existing rooms and we are looking forward to the new guests and relationships we can gain from this. As we are primarily a Corporate Motel, have a very healthy and continuous inflow of return and loyal businesses who stay with us frequently, however we do enjoy and welcome our leisure guests and their families as our motel and our team grows. Our Rooms are all fully self-contained, therefore we do not offer a Bar or Restaurant as our rooms are wholly equipped with all the facilities needed to cook and live in their room comfortably for any duration of stay. Our other facilities include a BBQ area, Swimming Pools, Guest Laundry, Games Room and Fitness center all available for guest and personal use.

Your Key Responsibilities include and are open for discussion and improvement:

• Handling guest inquiries and relations regarding the management of bookings, guest satisfaction and overseeing their general comfort, both in person and over phone and email correspondence.
• Become fluent in their knowledge of our booking program RMS 9+.
• Handing cash and Eftpos takings.
• Proper care and consideration regarding guests accounting and payment information.
• Ordering of linen which is outsourced.
• General Maintenance, including but not limited to, the gardens, lawns, and buildings.
• Keeping an active role in overseeing that the general cleanliness and hygiene is maintained and organized by housekeeping, this is not something you will have to assist in, however we do expect that our 4.5-star rating in cleanliness is upheld.
• Stock Control
• No Bar or Restaurant management as we do not offer this service.
• Rostering
