Field Service Technician – Pumps & Systems
$40–$53/hr + Monthly RDOs | Western Suburbs | Full-Time Permanent
An industry-leading provider of engineered pump solutions is expanding their service team and looking for an experienced technician to take on a mobile role across the western suburbs. This position is suited to someone hands-on and proactive, with a solid background in pump maintenance and a drive to work independently across varied sites.

About the Role:
As a mobile technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning pump systems at customer locations. Your work will play a key role in ensuring high-performance equipment and excellent client outcomes. The role offers both autonomy and the chance to build lasting relationships with customers and internal teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Carry out installation, repairs, maintenance, and testing of pump systems
Diagnose faults and implement practical solutions in the field
Handle commissioning, warranty claims, emergency breakdowns, and routine jobs
Liaise with customers on-site to explain issues and propose service options
Maintain clear records using field-based systems and internal reporting tools
Operate safely in line with company and industry standards
Partner with service coordinators and other technicians to ensure job success
Contribute to ongoing improvement of systems and processes, including ISO accreditations
Uphold values of safety, reliability, professionalism, and ownership
What We’re Looking For:
Trade qualified (e.g., plumber, electrician, auto electrician)
Electrical ‘A’ Grade or REL licence highly regarded
At least 2 years' experience in a service-based or maintenance role
Strong fault-finding and mechanical aptitude
Current Australian driver’s licence
Willingness to complete police and WWCC clearances if needed
Experience with fire systems is advantageous but not essential
