Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Senior Hydraulic Technician to join our team in Keysborough. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is primarily responsible for carrying out Assembly, Repairs and maintenance tasks on a wide range of hydraulic, pneumatic, hose machinery and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Workshop modification, reworking and testing of new hydraulic components to meet customer's individual requirements
Service and Maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment
Machining and Welding
Hose and tube manufacture
Diagnose, troubleshoot and Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to work independently and lead other staff members
Onsite hydraulic support for local customers
Keep accurate records of stock, deliveries, and inventory.
Key Requirements:
Relevant trade qualifications e.g. Qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or Equivalent)
Forklift Licence
Full Driver Licence – ability to drive a manual vehicle required
Full working rights in Australia – no restrictions
Key Skills
Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a workshop or industrial setting.
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work overtime when required
Willingness to travel to remote worksites when required
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
