Are you a self starter that is highly organised with a passion to supporting meaningful work in youth mental health? Join KYDS as our new Quality and Performance Manager, driving innovation and ensuring delivery of high quality and evidence based services.
Working collaboratively with the Counselling Services Managers and clinical team, this role will use data driven insights to support a culture of excellence, innovation and client centred care with a continuous improvement mindset.

About the Role
Leading quality assurance, continous improvement, risk management, compliance, reporting and data management functions, this role is key to ensuring excellent clinical outcomes, ensuring strong governance and supporting risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and oversee quality assurance processes.
Lead the development of data driven insights and reporting to inform decision making.
Drive continuous improvement culture, effective feedback and collaborative dialogue.
Identify and develop mitigation strategies for key risks and lead risk management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards in a clinical, child safety and family wellbeing setting.
Identify emerging trends, research and best practices in youth mental health, counselling and family interventions.
Design and support the implementation of innovative approaches to services.
Foster a collaborative and reflective learning culture that supports staff in delivering high-quality services.
About You
You're a team player and use collaborative techniques to encourage quality outcomes and foster continuous improvement and innovation. Understanding the needs of decision makers, you use data to identify areas of focus and to communicate outcomes and progress made. You get excited about compliance and how robust risk management can support excellent outcomes. Key Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in business, business analytics, information management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Qualifications and experience in youth counselling (highly regarded)
Minumum of 3 to 5 yrs experience in quality assurance, business analyst or equivalent roles
Understanding of mental health clinical governance frameworks and quality standards (e.g. NSQMHS for CMOs)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (particularly excel, access, etc), database management, data reporting packages and project management tools.
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Strong knowledge of quality assurance frameworks, continuous imporvement methodologies and evaluation practices
Highly developed analytical and problem solving abilities, focus on driving systemic change
Able to work under pressire with minimal direct supervision
Must pass Working with Children Check and National Police Check and have the right to work in Austrlaia permanently.
Knowledge of relevant healthcare accreditation standards and youth service regulatory requirements
