An opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and experienced Warranty Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Service Team.

Who do we need?

We are looking to employ a Warranty Administrator / Service Advisor to join our Service Department Team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and driven to provide the best possible experience for our customers.

Ideally you will have previous Service Advising and Warranty and Insurance Claims experience within automotive or lifestyle industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Warranty Management:

• Process and manage warranty claims, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete. Progress all warranty claims through to payment.
• Handle warranty claims from initiation to resolution, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Liaise with Jayco Hobart Pre-Delivery Team re pre-delivery warranty claims.

Data Entry & Administration:

• Accurately enter data into the system, maintaining meticulous records of claims and resolutions.
• Perform general administrative tasks as required to support the team.
• Assist others with incoming calls and emails as required.

Customer & Provider Communication:

• Liaise with clients, service providers, and suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to claims.
• Provide updated parts or bookings status to clients including after service follow-up calls or emails.
• Provide clear, prompt updates to stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and understanding.
• A problem-solving mindset and a passion for helping customers.

Knowledge Maintenance:

• Stay up-to-date with Jayco warranty policies, Jayco 3rd Party warranty procedures, and product specifications.
• Apply technical knowledge to assist clients with parts interpretation and queries.
• Complete Jayco online and at times Factory Training at Jayco, courses Service Advisor and Warranty training

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with colleagues in all divisions to ensure a smooth workflow and timely claim resolutions.
• Contribute to a supportive and cooperative team environment.

About you:

To be successful in your new role you'll have/be:

• Experience in the automotive industry, such as Mechanic, Service Advisor or Sales positions would be highly regarded
• A basic level of knowledge around the vehicle service and repair process, ideally having caravan usage experience would be highly regarded
• Desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Full Australian manual driver's license, essential for this role.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Experience with warranty costing (highly regarded)
• Experience with UBS, ECLIPSE or AMWIN software (highly regarded but not essential)
