As a Concrete NDT Technician, you will play a key role in evaluating the condition of critical structures and contributing to the development of industry-leading solutions.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Site Quality Inspections

Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) of concrete surfaces, steel preparation, and coatings.

Perform detailed condition assessments and diagnose concrete degradation.

Prepare comprehensive reports with clear descriptions, data presentation, and visual documentation.

Develop autonomy in task execution through ongoing learning and team collaboration.

2. Business Development Support

Build and maintain client relationships and generate referrals.

Contribute to case studies, promotional content, and marketing materials.

3. Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

Share expertise and support colleagues and management as needed.

Foster a collaborative and respectful team environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Certifications will be arranged during commencement of your employment however Preference will be given to candidates with a majority of the following certifications.

Construction Industry Induction Card

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

NACE CIP Level 2 (or higher)

First Aid Level 2

Working at Heights

Category 3 Employment Medical

National Police Check

Proficiency in using and reporting results from:

Cover meter

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

Rebound hammer

Resistivity and corrosion probes

Concrete core sampling

Other relevant NDT methods

Skills

Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and outdoor environments

Strong report writing skills; proficient in MS Word, tables, and graphs

Independent problem-solving abilities

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Experience in industrial quality control

High attention to detail, note-taking, and time management

Specialist Training

The company will provide any specialist certifications required for the role.
