Key Responsibilities

As a Support Technician, you’ll be at the heart of field deployment and technology evolution. Your role will include:

Deployment & Customer Support

• Install and commission BURRO Agricultural robots and supporting tools in orchards and vineyards.

• Install and configure GOtrack autonomous tractor retrofit systems, ensuring seamless integration into customer operations.

• Set up customer sites and train end-users on best practices for operation, safety, and maintenance.

• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting, helping users solve issues and optimise system performance.

• Support growers in integrating our technologies into their daily workflows and long-term strategies.

Technical Sales Demonstrations

• Run compelling, hands-on demonstrations of AAA solutions to growers and partners.

• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure demonstrations are tailored to specific client use cases.

R&D & Product Development

• Contribute to research and development of new automation technologies, tools, and system improvements.

• Collaborate with the internal engineering and product teams to test prototypes and provide field feedback.

• Work with external partners and technology vendors to trial and evaluate emerging solutions in real-world conditions.

Skills & Experience

We’re seeking someone passionate about technology and agriculture with a proactive and problem-solving mindset:

• Strong background in IT systems and networking – ability to configure hardware, manage software installs, and troubleshoot connectivity issues is essential.

• Experience with agricultural machinery, automation systems, mechatronics, or field service roles.

• Clear, confident and patient communication, especially when working with growers and training non-technical users.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and digital systems.

• Experience working in the field and willingness to travel regularly across QLD & Interstate.

• An interest or understanding of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is highly advantageous.
