About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team at Bradfield Civil in Nowra, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating an industrial sub division project. As the Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of projects, adhering to safety protocols, and leading a team of skilled civil construction workers.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of civil construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and work methods to optimise productivity and resource utilisation

Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed

Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards

Providing hands-on support and guidance to construction workers, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment

Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and address any issues or concerns

TFNSW experience will be highly regarded

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (8+ years) in a civil construction supervisory or foreperson role, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects

Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and the use of heavy equipment and machinery

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams to achieve project objectives

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements

Thorough understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on site

Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
