About the Role

At Authentic Support, we help people live their best, most empowered lives — and we do it together, with heart 💚.

As a mentor, you’ll play a key role in uncovering what matters most to each mentee: their passions, goals, and dreams. You’ll walk beside them, offering guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support to help bring those dreams to life.

No two days are the same — one day you might be helping someone explore new career or computer skills, another day you might be out on a nature hike, joining a community event, tending a garden, or helping someone build confidence through practical, hands-on life skills.

We care deeply about our team, too. You tell us what’s important to you — the hours that suit your lifestyle, the mentees you’re best matched to — and we’ll work with you to make it happen.

At Authentic Support, connection beats competition. We share ideas, back each other up, and work side by side. We hold regular team catch-ups to connect, brainstorm, and celebrate wins — because we believe great outcomes come from great collaboration. What You Need to Join the Team ( mandatory before starting in the field)

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

NDIS Worker Check (Yellow Card)

Current Driver’s Licence + Own vehicle

Comprehensive Car Insurance

Proof of Work Rights in Australia (eg. Birth Certificate, Passport, etc)

Completed e-learning modules: NDIS & Infection Control

Pay Rates (Casual)

Weekdays: $32.80/hour
Saturdays: $45.90/hour
Sundays: $59.02/hour
Public Holidays: $72.13/hour
