Next Global Services (NGS) is a Western Australia-based employment agency specializing in process-driven international recruitment, migration assistance, and relocation services. With over 30 years of experience servicing the resources industry in WA, we are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from qualified Mechanical Fitters with Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitting experience, who are willing to relocate to Western Australia on employer-sponsored visas.
About the Role:
You will be working as part of the support team responsible for the daily mechanical maintenance of the processing plant. The team is actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives and advanced planning, including the condition monitoring of all plant and equipment.
All work must be carried out in a safe, timely, professional, and effective manner.
An excellent remuneration package is offered, along with a generous relocation and support package.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter in a mining environment.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance within mill processing facilities.
Sound understanding of mechanical processes and fixed plant operations.
Proven experience working with crushing and milling equipment, including centrifugal pumps (especially Warman).
Skilled in preventative maintenance systems.
Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience with:
Slurry pumps (Warman, Curve, Metso)
Vibrating screens
Conveyor systems
Crushers
Good knowledge of hydraulic systems, lubrication practices and contamination prevention techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical reports, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
Ability to generate detailed Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) and conduct safety observations.
Commitment to working safely and not creating or ignoring hazards.
Minimum requirements:
Recognised Trade Training Certificate
High School or Tertiary Qualification
English language proficiency: Minimum score of 5 in IELTS or 36 in PTE
Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience supporting Fixed Plant Daily Maintenance & Shutdown works
Exposure to Fixed Plant equipment i.e. gearboxes, conveyor systems, crusher components, Ball and SAG mills, water pumps, and hydraulic systems
Experience in preventative maintenance systems
Ability to generate Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs)
Commitment to safe work practices
Ability to read and interpret technical reports
A current and valid Driver’s License and ability to drive

Other Essential Criteria (Visa Compliance)
Candidates must be able to provide the following documentation at a later stage:
Proof of work experience for the last 4 years (employment contract and employer reference letter confirming role, duration, salary, and responsibilities on company letterhead)
Proof of salary payments (payslips, bank statements, tax records)
Proof of English language proficiency: IELTS (min. score of 5) or PTE (min. score of 36)
Police clearance certificate
Copy of your passport
High school or tertiary qualification documents
