Job Summary:

Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator with a passion for working with young children? Conyngham Street Community Children’s Centre is seeking a full-time and part-time Preschool Educator (two positions available) to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and early childhood education for children aged 3–6 years, helping to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive, explore, and develop essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside Early Childhood Teachers and the Educational Leader to plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Build positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring open and ongoing communication.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe learning environment in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.

Work collaboratively with fellow educators to foster a supportive and cohesive team culture.

Engage in professional development opportunities to continue growing as an early childhood educator.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)

Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Working with Children Check.

RRHAN-EC (expiry December 2027)

Experience with programming

Proven experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting.

Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

A deep passion for supporting children's holistic development through high-quality care and education.
