Rosemont Cottage, a privately owned early childhood education and care service, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Lead Educator to join our dedicated team in Centenary Heights. This is a full-time position where you'll take on a key leadership role, guiding and supporting a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that foster the holistic growth of infants and toddlers

Create a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment

Monitor and document children's learning and development, while working in partnership with families to support each child’s individual journey

Mentor and lead a team of educators

Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies to uphold a high standard of care and education

Participate actively in staff meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

We are looking for a committed educator who brings:

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education

Experience working with infants or toddlers in an early childhood setting

A strong understanding of play-based, developmentally appropriate learning

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building strong relationships with families, children, and colleagues

An understanding of early childhood development and responsive caregiving practices

Strong time management, organisation, and leadership skills

A current First Aid Certificate, including approved training in Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management

As part of this role, you’ll need to be committed to a rotating roster that supports the smooth operation of the centre and the needs of our children and families.
