About the role

As a Nursery Lead Educator at Little Corner Early Learning, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children in our Redland Bay Early Learning. The ideal applicant will work five days a week. The permanent part-time position offers the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated educators and shape the development of young minds in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Supervise and mentor a team of Nursery Educators, fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistency in the delivery of care

Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment for children

Observe and document children's progress, and collaborate with families to support each child's individual needs and interests

Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies

Actively participate in centre events and community engagement initiatives

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader in an early learning centre

Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience

Passion for providing high-quality early childhood education and a commitment to the wellbeing of children

Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children certifications
