We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a forward-thinking project team delivering innovative, large-scale solutions for a leading blue-chip client in the infrastructure and construction sector. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a next-generation digital planning and execution platform that blends 3D visualisation, geospatial data, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and develop high-performance software features
• Develop 3D visualisation tools and interfaces for model interaction in a virtual environment
• Work on front-end features using React + TypeScript with advanced performance optimisations
• Integrate spatial data and APIs to support real-time and data-driven applications
• Help define and implement technical architecture across a modular software platform
• Deploy scalable services to the cloud and contribute to continuous integration pipelines
• Participate in task scoping, feature planning, and ongoing improvements

What You’ll Bring (Essential Skills)

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development and solution delivery
• Strong experience with Three.js (GLTFLoader, Shaders, Materials, Custom Geometry)
• Proven understanding of memory management, optimisation, and large dataset handling
• Solid grasp of time complexity and algorithm optimisation
• Proficient in React development with state management tools such as Zustand, Redux, or similar
• Experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, including working with layers and tools
• Strong understanding of coordinate reference systems and geospatial integration
• Experience with event-driven programming and API-based data-driven application design
• High-level proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and functional programming
• Strong command of React performance optimisation techniques and debugging tools
• Excellent communication skills, independent working style, and strong problem-solving capabilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with Unity3D (not required but beneficial)
• Knowledge of component-driven development and reusable UI frameworks
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and cloud-based deployment models
