Job Advertisement – Hands-On Motel Management Team (Live-In)

About the Role

Coachman’s Inn Warwick is a well-established, 4-star motel featuring 32 spacious rooms, an onsite licensed restaurant, and function facilities. We are seeking a hands-on, experienced management couple to take responsibility for all day-to-day operations and lead the team with confidence and care.

This is a live-in, operationally involved role suited to a capable couple who can step into all areas of motel operations and demonstrate effective leadership. You’ll be supported by a dedicated accounts team, with a broader opportunity to contribute to a growing regional accommodation group with properties in Warwick, Roma, Emerald and Rockhampton.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and participate in front office, guest relations, housekeeping, maintenance, and presentation
- Actively lead and support team members, ensuring a positive and performance-driven culture
- Drive guest satisfaction and uphold high property standards
- Manage staff rosters, team training, and day-to-day people management
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and licensing requirements
- Liaise effectively with the restaurant team and group owners
- Report operational performance with support from our dedicated accounts team

What We Offer

- $120,00 -$130,000 combined salary package
- Fully self-contained onsite accommodation

You’ll Bring

- Previous experience as a hands-on management couple in motels, hotels, or holiday parks
- Strong leadership skills, with a focus on building a respectful and reliable team
- Proficiency in operating:
• Guestpoint (property management system)
• SiteMinder (channel manager)
• OpenTable (restaurant bookings)
• Deputy (staff rostering and time management)
- Practical knowledge of maintenance, housekeeping standards, and guest service
- Commitment to quality, reliability, and being present in the day-to-day operations
