We are seeking a Sales Specialist to lead Engineering solutions as part of our clients Temporary Works Division, delivering strategic growth and sales across the Victoria region. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will deliver innovative and safe solutions for construction projects. About Our Client: Our client is a national leader and very well respected brand in the equipment hire industry, offering high-quality wet and dry hire temporary works solutions across construction, infrastructure, and events.

The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for generating opportunities and supporting customers on construction sites by presenting solutions and capabilities. You will be a trusted partner to various clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring a seamless process from concept to delivery. If you enjoy being out on the road and haven ability to sell , identifying opportunities and being in charge of not just your own, but the company’s success, then this role could be the one for you.

The Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to provide technical sales support
  • Develop and identify business opportunities by engaging with clients and identifying their needs
  • Prepare and present solutions, quotes, and technical data to assist customers in decision-making
  • Visit construction sites to meet customers, assess their needs, and gather information to create innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to generate innovative temporary works solutions
  • Conduct toolbox talks and provide on-site support, ensuring safe and effective use of products
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and internal teams
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements in temporary works solutions

The Candidate:

  • Technical sales experience - Engineering qualifications are a bonus but not required
  • Ideally 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A core understanding of either Shoring Ground Equipment, Structural Engineering Support and/or Pumps and Fluid Managment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in Construction, Industrial or Structural engineering, or related product solutions would be beneficial
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A team-oriented, self-motivated individual with a customer-focused approach
