  • Be part of our customer focused library team, who provide exceptional service to our diverse communities
  • Hourly rate of $32.57 - $38.18 + 11.5% Superannuation + Weekend Penalty Rates (3% increase in rates of pay from the first full pay period in July 2025 and superannuation will increase to 12%)
  • 20 hours per week (Saturday 11am-4pm, remaining 15 hours over two other days in the week)

Your Position:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Library and Community Hub's creative programs. We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative team member to help deliver high-quality customer service and support a wide range of innovative and creative programs and events.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-

  • Supporting the Creative Experience Team in delivering a range of high-quality and engaging programs and events in the Hub's creative spaces
  • Assisting in maintaining a calendar of creative events and help promote programs through outreach and social media
  • Providing positive and friendly customer service, including floor-walking and responding to customer enquiries
  • Actively participating as a member of the team to help evaluate and suggest improvements to services
  • Assisting customers in Library's technology services and facilities
  • Contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Library and Community Hub including shelving, tidying and supporting weekend shifts

To be successful in this role you will have:-

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of creative programs and events, especially those related to digital literacy and creative technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality customer service, including to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
  • Strong digital and PC literacy with confidence in using mobile and social media platforms and technology trouble shooting skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all employees (2 Vaccines)
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment health assessment
