This is a standout leadership opportunity within a high-profile ASX-listed energy company - a household name with a national presence. In this role, you'll step into a senior commercial finance position at the heart of technology transformation, working closely with the CIO and Technology Leadership Team to support one of the most dynamic parts of the business.

As the Senior Finance Manager - Technology, you'll lead a small, high-performing team and act as the key commercial partner for the Technology function. You'll drive financial planning, strategic insight, and commercial decision support that directly impacts enterprise-wide transformation. It's a high-impact role that blends leadership, strategic business partnering, and commercial acumen in an environment where your influence truly matters.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead a team of three direct reports, building capability and clarity of purpose across the function
• Partner with Technology leaders to embed commercial insight into decision-making and strategic delivery
• Oversee financial planning and analysis across operational and capital budgets, P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, transparency, and segment-level analysis
• Provide robust commercial and investment decision support to enable effective resource allocation and benefit realisation
• Act as a change leader across finance and technology to uplift processes and maturity

What you'll bring:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Proven experience in FP&A and Commercial Finance and with a track record of delivering commercial insight and financial rigour
• Prior experience working with or supporting Technology teams in a large, matrixed organisation
• Energy experience will be preferred
• Extensive experience Business Partnering with C-level Executives
• Strong leadership experience - able to build engagement, capability, and performance within a team
• A passion for driving transformation and making sense of complexity in a fast-moving environment
