A leading energy group is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead finance partnering across two large divisions. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, delivering insightful reporting, and enabling decision-making across a dynamic and evolving part of our business. This is a 6-month fixed term contract

As a key member of our Finance team, you will:

Partner with senior leaders to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across the Technology and Corporate Services portfolios.

Oversee the delivery of insightful, forward-looking performance reporting and analysis.

Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and automation initiatives.

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team.

Build and maintain trusted relationships across key business functions.

Ideal experience:

10+ years' experience in business partnering, financial analysis, or commercial finance

CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to simplify complexity

Proven leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing teams

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Strong analytical mindset and ability to challenge assumptions constructively

Experience in driving transformation through systems and process enhancements

Nice to have (but not essential):

Experience using Oracle Cloud

Exposure to the utilities or energy sector
